Amazon executive to keynote Albany’s 2026 MLK Dinner
Terreta Rodgers to Share Insight on Leadership, Engagement, and Opportunity at annual Chamber event
ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Albany State University and the King Day Celebration Committee, is proud to announce Terreta Rodgers, Head of Community Affairs for Amazon’s Georgia Region, as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner, scheduled for January 15, 2026, at Albany State University’s West Campus Student Center.
Presented by Colony Bank, the annual MLK Dinner brings together business, civic, and community leaders to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through reflection, dialogue, and celebration of leadership and service. Company tables for the event are filling quickly, and organizations are encouraged to reserve their seats early.
Terreta Rodgers is a respected leader in corporate and community engagement, overseeing Amazon’s local external affairs strategy across the state. Her work focuses on strengthening community partnerships, supporting economic development, and advancing initiatives centered on education and workforce opportunity. With more than 20 years of experience in public service, corporate relations, government affairs, and brand marketing, Rodgers began her career in public service, including roles with the Office of the Mayor of Atlanta and as a press secretary for Vice President Al Gore.
Rodgers holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and serves on several civic and business boards throughout Georgia. Her commitment to leadership and community impact closely aligns with the principles and legacy of Dr. King.
In addition to the keynote address, the 2026 MLK Dinner will include the presentation of two educational scholarships to Albany State University and the awarding of a Chamber-sponsored membership for a diverse small business in our area.
