Albany’s Citywide Job Fair simplifies the hiring process

ALBANY, Ga. – Citizens of the Good Life City gear up for a career boost as the City of Albany hosts its Citywide Job Fair.

The City of Albany extends a warm invitation to its residents to join its dynamic workforce. This job fair encompasses various departments, including Transit, Fleet Management, and the Albany Police Department.

Breanna Nixon, the Human Resources Manager responsible for Workers’ Compensation and Recruitment, shares insights into the hiring process.

“There is no appointment needed, anybody can walk up today. You can communicate to our departments, they will guide you in the right direction on how to apply. Some of them are actually doing on the spot interviews. We have a computer station set up, where candidates can actually go in there and use our computers, go onto albanyga.Gov and find employment and they would apply for the position that they would like to apply for,” said Breanna Nixon, the Human Resources Manager/Workers’ Compensation and Recruitment.
