Albany Weekend Arrests
ALBANY, GA – On Friday, Albany law enforcement executed two search warrants in connection with several aggravated assault cases that occurred in the 1200 block of Julia Avenue and the 2000 block of West Waddell Avenue.
During the search warrants, several individuals were arrested and multiple firearms were recovered.
18-year-old Kayveon Lyles, 19-year-old Quansay Mitchell, and 18-year-old Cedrick McKinney were arrested on armed robbery, aggravated assault, and gang participation charges.
22-year-old Isaiah Reese was arrested for 2 counts of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree, and possession of firearm during the commission of a crime.
21-year-old Charleston Greene was arrested for theft by receiving a firearm.
This particular firearm was stolen at the Gilbert Lane incident.
Kameelah Lang was arrested on a probation violation warrant.
All offenders were transported to the Dougherty County jail.
A total of two assault rifles, three pistols, marijuana, and pills were recovered; 81 grams of edibles, 130 grams of pills containing methamphetamine and fentanyl were also recovered.
More charges are expected.
