Albany State University Chamber Ensemble to perform free Black History Month concert at Northwest Library in partnership with Dougherty County Public Library

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA – In celebration of Black History Month, the Albany State University (ASU) Department of Fine Arts is proud to present a special evening of music
featuring the university’s Chamber Ensembles. The performance will take place on Tuesday, February 24, at 7:00 p.m. at the Dougherty County Public Library – Northwest Branch, 2507
Dawson Road.

This community concert offers a curated selection of musical works that honor the rich heritage and contributions of Black composers and musicians. The program is designed to inspire and
engage listeners of all backgrounds, showcasing the technical skill and soul of ASU’s student performers.

The event is free and open to the public. Families and music lovers of all ages are encouraged to attend this celebration of culture and excellence.:
