Albany Police Department investigating West Tift Avenue homicide

ALBANY, Ga. – On September 19, 2023, officers responded to the 700 block of W Tift Ave, around 8:00 PM, in reference to a shooting.

The victim, Jah’tay Winchester (20), was shot in the head and succumbed to his injuries. Currently, there aren’t any suspects, and this incident remains under investigation.
