Albany Humane Society worker now primary suspect, wanted on burglary, theft, and fraud charges in stolen puppies case
ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department (APD) has confirmed that a man employed with the Albany Humane Society is the main suspect in the theft of the three puppies on March 19.
Darius Parker, previously a person of interest, is now wanted on the following charges: 2nd degree burglary, financial transaction card theft, and 9 counts of financial transaction card fraud.
The humane society says he was a current employee at the time of the incident.
The three puppies were safely returned to the humane society over the weekend.
