Albany Area Primary Health Care launches major expansion of services for Lee County

Lee Health Center hosts grand opening event in Leesburg on Tuesday, July 18

LEESBURG, Ga. – Albany Area Primary Health Care will host our Grand Opening Celebration for the new Lee Health Center in Leesburg, Georgia on Tuesday, July 18.   The event will start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m.   The Lee Health Center is located at 118 Robert B Lee Drive, Leesburg, Georgia.

During the Grand Opening, Albany Area Primary Health Care will have a short presentation, ribbon cutting, tours of the facility and light refreshments.   For our media partners, we will have space available for interviews with our health care providers, executive team, elected officials and more.

Lee Health Center is a brand-new medical facility in Leesburg that provides primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, podiatry, behavioral health, a vision center and a pharmacy all under one roof for patients.

“Serving the Lee County community since 1979, we are so incredibly proud to expand care with this new location,” says Brandy Church, spokesperson for Albany Area Primary Health Care. “We have expanded patient services so community members always have access to trusted health care providers right here at home. We also have new providers joining us – including dentists, optometrists and behavioral health specialists – so we’re welcoming highly-trained, highly-skilled providers to our Lee County community.”

“So many of our patients’ medical needs are met under one convenient roof with this new office,” says Church. “We’ve had such a positive response from patients and our community members about this expansive space and the new services offered to them. We’ve made sure to upgrade everything to best serve our patients and what they truly want in a doctor’s office.”

AAPHC has been in the Lee County community for over 44 years.  “Our original office was located on Walnut Street, but over the years we outgrew that space. With this expansion, and all the services offered in one location, we’ll be here to care for our Lee County community for another 40 years,” says Church.

Interview opportunities will be available after the short presentation and ribbon cutting, including:
