Albany Area Chamber to host 2025 Military Affairs Rise N Shine Breakfast

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Military Affairs Rise N Shine breakfast, a powerful celebration of the longstanding partnership between Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany (MCLB Albany) and the Albany community.

The 2025 event will be held this upcoming Thursday, June 24 at Albany State University’s West Campus Bookstore event center at 8:00 a.m. and will highlight MCLB Albany’s vital role in national defense and global logistics. The program will also focus on the importance of community support for service members and military families, showcasing Albany’s distinction as a Military Community of Excellence.

This year’s event features two dynamic panel discussions. The first, “State of the Base,” will offer updates from key military leaders across all sectors of our base. The second, “Community Integration,” will feature stories of local collaboration that strengthen the base and the region. The program will also include a presentation of awards recognizing outstanding service and a special appearance by the Albany Young Marines.

This event is presented by the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce and generously supported by Navy Federal Credit Union, Albany State University, Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission, Georgia Power, Dougherty County, RHC Inc., Proctor & Gamble and Albany Technical College.

For non-media guests, registration is open at www.albanyga.com through Wednesday.
