Albany Area Chamber of Commerce hosts event to celebrate AT&T Fiber availability for more than 2 million customer locations

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce was proud to host AT&T at our office today for a ribbon cutting celebrating a major milestone — the expansion of AT&T Fiber to more than two million residential and small business locations across Georgia. This investment represents continued growth in connectivity that supports innovation, workforce development, and economic opportunity.

Chamber President Matt Reed welcomed attendees and set the stage for the announcement, alongside remarks from Georgia Department of Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes and Riley Blount, President of AT&T Georgia. Local small business owner Mike Gonzalez of Pro Outdoor also shared firsthand insight on the importance of reliable, high-speed fiber for small businesses and their ability to compete and grow.

Thank you to our Chamber members, community leaders, and elected officials who joined us to celebrate this important investment in our community and state.
