“A Sweet Taste of Tifton” 12th annual chocolate tasting event returns to support adult literacy
TIFTON, Ga. – A delicious night out for a meaningful cause is coming to Tifton next week. The Literacy Volunteers of Tifton-Tift County are hosting their 12th annual fundraiser, newly reimagined as “A Sweet Taste of Tifton,” on Tuesday, February 10.
The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Paulk Vineyards Tifton Tasting Room, located at 1013 Ridge Avenue North.
Guests will be treated to a wide variety of decadent desserts, mostly chocolate, along with wine and non-alcoholic slushies. The evening will also feature both silent and live auctions, offering attendees the chance to bid on unique items and experiences.
One of the highlights of the night is the friendly competition among dessert vendors. Attendees will vote for their favorites in categories such as Best Taste, Best Presentation, and Most Original. Winning businesses will receive plaques and community bragging rights.
All proceeds benefit Literacy Volunteers of Tifton-Tift County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving adult literacy through tutoring and educational support programs.
Advance tickets are $30 and include dessert tastings and two beverages. Tickets will be $40 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online here. For more information, call 229-391-2527.
