PCOM students holding back to school drive
(MOULTRIE, GA) – The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s South Georgia campus is giving back to Colquitt County students for the upcoming school year..
PCOM students are accepting donations in order to give out school supplies for Colquitt County’s elementary school students.
The back to school drive is set to run through Monday, August 10th.
PCOM students are only taking financial donations due to COVID-19 concerns.
Student organizer, Sadie Daugereaux tells us that in a year of uncertainty, new school supplies for Colquitt students can be an emotional boost for them.
Daugeraux tells us, “So this is one small way that we can give back and try to give them that confidence of having something new. We’re also hoping to provide a little bit of certainty, because we’ll know that they’ll have the resources they need.”
If you’re interested in donating, you can send money through Venmo to @Sadie-Daugereaux.
