Colquitt County Food Bank receives large donation

(MOULTRIE, GA) – The Colquitt County Food Bank receives an anonymous grant of more than $8,000 to help buy food for those in need.

Food bank Executive Director, Laura Keith says that the all-volunteer food bank has doubled food orders from this time a year earlier, and this grant goes a long way in helping to meet those needs.

Keith tells us, “It’s been a phenomenal thing, because eight thousand dollars is a good part of our budget, what we budget yearly for food because we’re a unique food bank. We rely solely on donations….”
