A few storms may become strong to severe with damaging winds up to 60 mph, penny to quarter size hail, torrential downpours, and frequent lightning.

Summer-like weather holds with soaring temperatures mid to late week.

Temperatures in mid-upper 90’s still expected with the best opportunity on Wednesday. Heat Index in upper 90’s-near 100°.

Temperatures return closer to average with better rain chances by the end of the week-weekend.
