The Georgia Academy for Economic Development offers The Essentials course in Moultrie

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Community leaders, business professionals, and residents interested in strengthening their local economy will have an opportunity to learn what drives growth later this month.

The Georgia Academy for Economic Development will host its foundational course, Economic Development: The Essentials, on Wednesday, February 25, at Colquitt Electric Membership Corporation in Moultrie.

The full-day, interactive course runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is designed for elected officials, local decision-makers, business leaders, and anyone interested in helping their community thrive.

Participants will take part in hands-on activities focused on collaborative leadership skills and gain a better understanding of the key investments and strategies that support long-term economic growth and sustainable development.

The cost to attend is $195, which includes course materials, meals, online resources, Academy-branded items, and a certificate of completion. Organizers say space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
