7th annual PULL! 4 Pay It ForWARD Clay Shoot to benefit childhood cancer families

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany community is coming together this weekend to aim for a cause that truly matters. The 7th Annual Pull! 4 Pay It ForWARD Clay Shoot takes place Saturday, February 21, at the Flint Skeet and Trap Club on Lilly Pond Road, with check-in beginning at 8 a.m. and shooting set to start at 9 a.m.

Hosted by the Pay It ForWARD Fund, the event offers a full day of sporting clays, skeet, and trap shooting, featuring 100 total targets – 50 sporting clays, 25 skeet, and 25 trap – using Lewis Class scoring. Shooters will compete for prizes, including awards for top finishers and a Long Bird Game sponsored by Dental Partners of Southwest Georgia. Registration includes lunch and a participant gift, and raffle entries will be available for a chance to win a Benelli 20-gauge Ethos Supersport, sponsored by Hibachi Express.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit Southwest Georgia families with children battling cancer, helping provide gas and meal cards for treatment trips, assistance with household bills, and moments of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time. Organizers say whether participants are experienced shooters or simply there to support the mission, every entry helps make a meaningful difference for local families.

The event is open to the public, with 60 shooter spots available. Participants are responsible for bringing their own shotgun and at least 110 shells, as ammunition will not be provided. Golf carts and ATVs are welcome, and non-shooters are encouraged to attend and enjoy a day outdoors with the community.

Registration and additional details are available online here. For more information, contact the Pay It ForWARD Fund at 478-238-6360 or email info@jayshope.org.
