Albany Recreation & Parks offers affordable I Love Downtown Albany Winter Camp for kids
ALBANY, Ga. – Winter break is coming up fast, and for parents without a plan yet, Albany Recreation and Parks has an affordable solution.
Albany Recreation and Parks Department (ARPD) is bringing back the I Love Downtown Albany Winter Camp, running February 16 through February 19, with four full days of hands-on learning, local exploration, and themed activities designed to help kids connect with their community.
The camp will be based at The Candy Room, located at 125 Pine Avenue, and features a different focus each day:

Monday, February 16: First Responders & Futures Day

Tuesday, February 17: Money, Minds & Movement Day

Wednesday, February 18: History, Heritage & Arts Day

Thursday, February 19: I Love Downtown Day
Each day blends education with interactive fun, introducing campers to local careers, financial basics, movement and wellness, Albany’s history, and the heart of downtown.
Drop-off begins at 7:45 a.m., with pick-up available until 5:30 p.m., making it a convenient option for working parents. Best of all, the cost is just $40 per child.
