Dance Theatre South presents original ballet production Jasmine and Aladdin: Jafara’s Revenge at Flint River Auditorium in Camilla this weekend

CAMILLA, Ga. – A world of magic, mystery, and adventure is coming to Camilla this weekend as Dance Theatre South presents its original ballet production, Jasmine and Aladdin: Jafara’s Revenge.

This reimagined twist on the classic tale explores what happens after Jasmine and Aladdin fall in love and Jafar is imprisoned. Peace in the kingdom of Agrabah is short-lived, however, when the exiled Jafara returns, determined to seek revenge and reclaim her power.

Audiences can expect breathtaking choreography, a powerful musical score, and a dramatic battle between good and evil, all brought to life through expressive dance and theatrical storytelling.

Performances will take place at the Flint River Auditorium, located at 108 South Harney Street in Camilla, on:

  • Saturday, January 24 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m.
