Belle of the Ball: Tiftarea YMCA’s Father-Daughter Dance returns February 13
TIFTON, Ga. – The new year is already flying by, and before we know it, February will be here. That means it’s almost time for one of Tift County’s sweetest traditions, the Tiftarea YMCA’s annual Father-Daughter Dance, known as Belle of the Ball, happening Thursday, February 13.
This beloved event has been creating special memories for more than two decades. Started in 2002, the dance offers fathers and daughters a meaningful night to connect, celebrate, and enjoy time together. The evening includes dinner, dancing, and a keepsake photo for each pair.
The YMCA offers two age group sessions:
-
Third grade and younger: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
-
Third grade and older: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Right now, families can still take advantage of regular pricing, but that window is closing soon. Regular registration runs through January 26, with rates set at $50 plus tax for members and $60 plus tax for nonmembers. After that, late registration begins on January 27, increasing to $60 plus tax for members and $70 plus tax for nonmembers.
Organizers say now is the time to sign up before prices go up and spots fill. Registration is available in person at the Tiftarea YMCA front desk.
For more information or questions about the event, call the Tiftarea YMCA at 229-391-9622.
