Winter Storm Update: January 18, 2026

Second consecutive year for measurable snowfall in SWGA on this Sunday morning! Snow is quickly tapering off near the Hwy 319 and I-75 corridors and any snow that has accumulated on the ground or grassy and elevated surfaces quickly melts, but any moisture that remains may refreeze for patches of black ice into Monday morning. Winter Storm Warning has been trimmed from west to east and the Winter Weather Advisory will expire soon. Freeze Warning is in effect from 4 am to 9 am Monday for a Hard Freeze or Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 23°. Protect the 4 P’s: People, Pets, Plants, & Pipes.
