Tifton Women’s Club hosts Art of Cardmaking Class at Syd Blackmarr Arts Center on Tuesday

TIFTON, Ga. – Tifton residents will have the chance to try something creative next week with a hands-on Art of Cardmaking Class.

The Tifton Women’s Club is hosting the class on Tuesday, January 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Syd Blackmarr Arts Center, located at 255 Love Avenue.

Open to adults and teens, the class is designed for beginners as well as anyone looking to sharpen their crafting skills. Participants will learn the fundamentals of handmade card design, including choosing materials, understanding card structure, and creating clean, polished finishes. The session will focus on layering techniques, a popular method that adds depth and visual interest by combining papers, textures, and embellishments.

The cost to attend is $20 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the Tifton Women’s Club. Online registration is required, and purchases are nonrefundable.
