Crisp Co. Fire Rescue responds to commercial structure fire on New Year’s
CORDELE, Ga. – Yesterday, Jan 1st, 2026 at 8:07 am, CCFR responded to a structure fire at 2002 Hwy 41 N. Upon arrival, units found a commercial structure with heavy smoke showing. First arriving units performed an interior attack and found heavy fire conditions in the rear of the structure. Spring Street was blocked during the duration of the incident for water supply. Units were on scene for suppression and overhaul activities for the next four hours. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
