Explore the spooky Visit Americus Haunted History Tours

AMERICUS, Ga. – If you love ghost stories and local legends, the Visit Americus Haunted History Tours are not to be missed. Step into the city’s past after dark and hear chilling tales of a sheriff’s murder, a lynching, and a housekeeper’s tragic fall down an elevator shaft, stories that still echo through downtown Americus.

Tours take place at 101 West Lamar Street on Thursday, October 30th, and Friday, October 31st. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
