Albany to “Paint the Town Pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness

ALBANY, Ga. – Downtown Albany is set to turn pink this Friday, October 3, as the community comes together for “Paint the Town Pink”, a celebration of breast cancer awareness and support. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Government Center on Pine Avenue.

Guests can enjoy food trucks, live entertainment, and a runway fashion showcase highlighting creativity, resilience, and community spirit. The event aims to honor survivors, support families, and spread awareness, all while bringing a splash of pink to the heart of downtown.

“Give Cancer the Boot” is a reminder that while the day will be filled with fun, its deeper purpose is raising awareness and celebrating strength in the fight against breast cancer.

Community members are encouraged to wear pink and join the crowd for this uplifting event.
