11th Annual Sparky Reeves Classic Golf Tournament tees off in Americus this Thursday

AMERICUS, Ga. – The 11th Annual Sparky Reeves Classic tees off this Thursday, October 2, at the Griffin Bell Golf and Conference Center in Americus. Hosted by the South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Jets Booster Club, the event honors the late President Sparky Reeves, who played a pivotal role in building the success of the Jets and Lady Jets athletics programs.

The tournament is a three-person scramble, with an entry fee of $100.00 per player or $300.00 per team. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those looking to support student-athletes.

Lunch is provided at noon, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Participants will compete for prizes including top team awards, longest drives, and closest-to-the-pin challenges. All proceeds benefit SGTC student-athletes, helping support athletic programs and opportunities across the campus.
