APD request public’s help identifying suspect who allegedly stole cancer fundraiser jar

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department (APD) would like the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect in the photo.

On September 24, 2025, at 12:00 a.m., the male entered Whistle Stop Food located at 713 S. Slappey Blvd. Surveillance footage shows the suspect taking a Kidney Cancer fundraising jar containing cash donations and leaving the store on foot with the jar in hand.

If anyone has any information regarding the suspect’s identity, please contact the Albany Police Department (APD) at 229-431-2100.
