Former Atlanta Mayor, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms to hold meet-and-greet Tuesday with Albany community members, roundtable with local farmers as part of ‘Standing Up for Georgia’ Tour

ALBANY, Ga. — On Tuesday, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms will visit Albany to meet with local community leaders, elected officials, and business leaders as part of her  “Standing Up for Georgia” tour across the state. Bottoms is a Democratic candidate for Governor of Georgia.

Bottoms will hold a meet-and-greet with local community members at 6PM at the Charles Driskell Community Center in Albany.

Earlier in the day, at 10AM, she will host a roundtable discussion to hear from local farmers at the Federation of Southern Cooperatives in Albany.

The Albany visit is Bottoms’ fifth stop on her “Standing Up for Georgia Tour” this summer and fall, where Bottoms is hearing directly from Georgians on what matters most to them and discussing her plans as governor to stand up for Georgians against the chaos in Washington and make Georgia more affordable. She has previously held events in Clarkston, Savannah, Warner-Robins and Augusta.
