Downtown Tifton Main Street Program kicks off fall season with 5th Annual Scarecrows on Main Contest

TIFTON, Ga. – Fall is in the air, and Downtown Tifton is kicking off the season with its 5th Annual Scarecrows on Main Contest. This free community tradition invites businesses, clubs, families, and organizations to get creative by designing and displaying their very own scarecrows.

The deadline to register is Friday, September 26th at noon. Scarecrow installation will take place between September 26th and September 30th, with displays set to line Main Street throughout October. Visitors can enjoy the scarecrows from October 1 through November 1.

Community members will also have the chance to help choose their favorite. Voting runs from October 1–10, and winners will be announced during Tifton’s Spooky Second Saturday event on October 11.
