Tifton Fire Department hydrant maintenance planned for next week

TIFTON, Ga. – Tifton Fire Department will continue their yearly NFPA 291 Fire Hydrant Inspection Program next week. This program is expected to last into early October.

During this process, Tifton Fire Department will be performing basic hydrant inspections ensuring functionality, cleaning the areas around hydrants, as well as flushing fire hydrants.
