Ocilla Church of God to host First Responder Appreciation Meal

OCILLA, Ga. – The Ocilla Church of God is honoring local heroes with a special First Responder Appreciation Meal this Thursday, September 11. The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the church gym, located at 302 Fitzgerald Highway in Ocilla.

The free meal, catered by Gay’s Seafood, is open to all active first responders serving Irwin and Ben Hill Counties. This event is the church’s way of showing gratitude for the long hours, sacrifices, and dedication that first responders provide to keep the community safe.
