9/11 Memorial Stair Climb returns to Thomas Co. Jackets Nest Football Stadium
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – A special tribute is planned for Thomasville residents tomorrow as the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb returns to the Thomas County Jackets Nest Football Stadium. Participants will simulate climbing 110 stories to honor the firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The event will be held in two sessions: 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is $20.00, and children 10 and under can participate for free.
The memorial stair climb is hosted by Thomasville Fire Rescue, the City of Thomasville, CNSNext, the YMCA, and the Thomasville Professional Firefighters Association.
