New Visions Community Development of Albany to host Senior Adults Living Triumphantly program
ALBANY, Ga. – Looking for ways to live a healthier, more active life? A special program in Dougherty county is aimed at helping seniors do just that.
The “Senior Adults Living Triumphantly”, or SALT program, is a free resource designed for local adults ages 62 and older, particularly those with low to moderate incomes. It offers recreation, social connections, nutrition support, and educational tools to help participants thrive. A session will be held Tuesday, August 26th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chef Latara Brooks will be sharing tips on plant-powered eating and how to create delicious late summer sides.
