Beattie Road closed for repaving

ALBANY, Ga. – Beginning Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 8 a.m., Beattie Road will be closed from Old Dawson Road to Gillionville Road for repaving.

Between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., Beattie Road will only be accessible one lane at a time. A pilot car will allow traffic in from either the Gillionville or Old Dawson entrance. Once the pilot car reaches the other entrance, traffic will be allowed to follow it back.

This will create significant delays and drivers are urged to use alternate routes when possible.

Motorists using Beattie Road while it is under construction should plan for longer drive times.

The work is expected to last two to three days or until construction is complete.
