Shooting incident in the 500 block of Emily Avenue

ALBANY, Ga. – On July 28, 2025 dispatch received a call from the victim, Kentonio Hill (19), stating he had been shot. Mapping showed the call originated from 500 block of Emily Ave. Officers responded and began searching for the victim. He was later found at S. Madison and Zackery, where his vehicle had left the road and crashed into a fence. The car had multiple bullet holes, and Hill was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for his injuries, he is in stable condition.

Investigators are working to identify suspects and reviewing nearby surveillance. Updates will be provided once new information becomes available for release.
