Washington’s COVID-19 winter outlook
Winter 2021 is expected to be much better than winter 2020 when it comes to a potential COVID-19 surge, Dr. Ali Mokdad with UW’s Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation says. “It will go down all the way until Spring,” Mokdad said. And that’s great news considering what we dealt with last year. Before our current surge, it was tough to believe researchers like Mokdad when they said cases would skyrocket during the winter.
