Albany Area Chamber Foundation’s THRIVE 2025, May 9 at Albany Tech – Empowering Future Talent

ALBANY, Ga. – THRIVE 2025, a powerful workforce development initiative of the Albany Area Chamber Foundation, happening this Friday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Albany Technical College’s Kirkland Conference Center.

THRIVE will equip Lee County School System and Dougherty County School System high school students with disabilities with essential employability skills – from job interviews to professional networking – while building their confidence and expanding their vision of what’s possible after graduation. This dynamic, hands-on experience connects students directly with business leaders who serve as mentors and role models for future success.

Media are encouraged to attend to capture the impact of this one-of-a-kind program and speak with:

  • Local employers and community partners involved in the initiative
  • School System leadership
  • Students participating in the experience

We believe THRIVE is not just a program,  it’s a movement to ensure that every student has a path to purpose and prosperity.
