Two Albany men arrested on multiple charges following traffic stop in Crisp Co.

CORDELE, Ga. – On April 27, at approximately 3:00 A.M. on GA 401/I-75 near Mile Marker 100, a Crisp County Deputy conducted a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy detected a strong odor of Marijuana. The driver was identified as Jaylen Moore, and the passenger was identified as Jeremiah Moore.

A search of the vehicle revealed multiple bags of marijuana, a digital scale, items used for packaging marijuana, and a firearm. Also in the car were multiple blank check sheets and printed blank checks with various victims’ names, bank account numbers, and routing numbers, a printer, and a financial transaction card not belonging to the passenger or the driver.

Jaylen Moore and Jeremiah Moore were arrested and transported to the Crisp County Detention Center.

Jaylen Moore, a 25-year-old male from Albany, GA, is charged with:

• Possession of Marijuana

• Failure to Maintain Lane

• Failure to Signal Lane Change or Turn

• Reckless Driving

• Obscured or Missing License Plate

• Holding a Wireless Device for Voice Communication

• Possession and Use of Drug-Related Objects

• Possession of Firearm During Crime

• Forgery in Fourth Degree

• Financial Identity Fraud

Jeremiah Moore, a 23-year-old male from Albany, GA, is charged with:

• Possession of Marijuana

• Possession and Use of Drug-Related Objects

• Forgery in Fourth Degree

• Financial Identity Fraud
