Tifton Farmers Market holds ribbon cutting ceremony, officially open on Saturdays
TIFTON, Ga. – The grand opening took place Saturday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony downtown, marking the start of the spring season.
The market, run by the Hickman family, will be open every Saturday through July at Tifton Gardens, right next to the Train Depot.
Shoppers can find farm-fresh produce, grass-fed beef, homemade treats, and handcrafted goods from local vendors. Plus, there’s live music, kids’ activities, and a special story time at 10 a.m. each Saturday.
Downtown leaders say they’re excited to see the market return after a successful fall season, calling it a great way to support local farmers and businesses while bringing the community together.
But… the fun doesn’t stop there, downtown Tifton is also hosting its Second Saturday Hop & Shop this weekend, followed by an Easter Eggstravaganza on April 17th.
