Father critically injured after daughter allegedly shoots him during argument in Cairo

CAIRO, Ga. – According to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, a shooting incident between a daughter and a father occurred on Live Oak Road in Cairo.

The daughter, who has not been identified, allegedly shot her father during an argument.

He is currently in a Tallahassee hospital, being treated for critical injuries.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has taken over the investigation.
