Coffee Co. man arrested for possession and trafficking a controlled substance

DOUGLAS, Ga. – And, in Coffee County, 35-year-old Alvin Jones III was arrested on Thursday, for possession and trafficking of a controlled substance.

During a search of the vehicle, detectives found around 150 pills of different milligrams inside a backpack.

If found guilty, Jones can face five to 30 years in prison.
