Altercation results in deadly shooting, APD investigating

ALBANY, Ga. – We begin with news in Albany, where a man is in custody after a deadly shooting on Odom Avenue Saturday night.

Police say 30-year-old Landon Carr shot and killed 37-year-old Robert Spann, reportedly over a shared relationship with a woman.

After the shooting, Carr chased the woman and rammed her vehicle before being arrested on South Jackson Street.

Carr faces multiple charges, including Murder and Aggravated Assault. Additional charges are pending. He is being held at the Dougherty County Jail.
