Crisp Co. Sheriff’s Office warns of Cypress Hill Road closure due to washed out culvert
CORDELE, Ga. – Over in Cordele, the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office shared these photos showing the damage to Cypress Hill Road, which is now closed due to storms that washed away the culvert underneath, making the road unsafe for all traffic.
The Crisp County Public Works Department, Sheriff’s Office, and Emergency Management are working together to find a safe route for residents west of the washout.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
