Margaret Jones Public Library lends pickleball gear
SYLVESTER, Ga. – Back here in South Georgia, Worth county’s Margaret Jones Public Library is allowing visitors to check out more than just books.
The library now offers pickleball equipment rentals, giving patrons the chance to borrow paddles and balls for up to 14 days with their library card.
The idea stems from the recent addition of pickleball courts at local parks.
Library Director Leigh Wiley says the initiative helps introduce residents to the sport without the upfront cost of buying equipment.
