Caldor Fire Grows To 53,722 Acres; Evacuation Warnings Issued For Amador County

The fire has not crossed Highway 50. It’s a few hundred yards away from the Highway at Ice House. Inversion conditions today helped to slow the spread of the fire, although it is still growing.
