Professional boxer Haven “Hitman” Brady Jr. sets unbeaten record
ALBANY, Ga. – The “Hitman” has been knocking opposition down like dominos…
Having an unbeaten professional record at 14-0…
With 6 KO’s…
But… what’s most impressive about his accomplishments so far…
Is he did it an area where boxing isn’t as prominent right here in Albany Georgia.
“I just started boxing to learn how to defend myself and learn some kind combat. And, my dad ended up moving to Albany. And, for 4-5 years we couldn’t find a boxing coach. Then, we found Coach Fred at the YMCA at Turner. And, we started training there. Then, it was kinda like a back and fourth between basketball and boxing till my 10th or 11th grade in high school, and went strictly into boxing. It was up from there,” said Haven “Hitman” Brady Jr., 14-0 Professional Boxer.
And… up it was…
Going pro at just 18..
Brady kicked off his professional career with 2 KO’s…
And… recently main evented a bout in Atlanta…
But… all of this doesn’t come without working as hard as absolutely possible…
“In my last 11th 12 grade year of high school I fought a lot. I was fighting weekends then I started fighting National. And, National you fight 5 times in one week. So, I was taking off school and fighting everyday. So… there’s a lot of other people who had like 200. Some of my stable mates have 150-200-230. Lomanchanko had 400. There’s a lot of ’em that have a lot. So, 80 being kinda low. As well as being in Albany there’s not a lot of amateur fights at all. Other than me and my dad had amateur fight. But, we had to travel so far to get amateur fights,” said Haven “Hitman” Brady Jr.
Being just 23 Haven still decides comes back to his hometown.
As he’s talked with kids at Westover, visited Churches, and gives back to the community by having a non-profit after school program for kids at his gym.
But… he has goals to become a better man and boxer in the 2025 calendar.
“Especially when I headlined. My first headliner the support from Albany, and just Georgia, was crazy, and I feel like with me building the ranks the crowd will get bigger and support will get stronger. So just see where the next year brings. I’m trying to be a bigger and better me. And, I also just love helping give back,” said Haven “Hitman” Brady Jr.
So… make sure you show love to Haven “Hitman” Brady Jr. in his next fight.
As I have a feeling we’ll be hearing this more often.
