Missing Worth Co. woman found safe
SCOOTERVILLE, Ga – According to a post on Worth Co. Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, authorities have located the missing woman 80-year-old Joyce Evans as of last night.

“Ms. Evans is being taken care of, and we’re thankful for this positive outcome.”
The Worth County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for 80-year-old Joyce Evans, who has been reported missing from the Golden Rd area (Scooterville) since approximately 4:30 pm today.
Ms. Evans is a white female, last seen wearing a long sleeve black shirt, blue jeans, and zipper-type shoes. She left her home on foot, and her direction of travel is unknown. She suffers from dementia and may be disoriented.
A helicopter has been deployed to assist in the search, and pilots request that anyone assisting in the search do so in pairs, so they can differentiate between searchers and the missing person.
