Man shot in Tifton Walmart parking lot, suspect in custody

TIFTON, Ga. – A man is facing charges after a Sunday morning shooting in the Walmart parking lot off Highway 82 in Tifton.

Police say Keith King, followed Robert Wright to the parking lot after a near collision on Highway 82 and McCormick Drive. Wright then allegedly pulled out a pistol and shot King multiple times in the legs.

King is recovering at Tift Regional Medical Center, while Wright is in Tift County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery.
