Portion of Dawson Road to be Closed for Repaving

ALBANY, Ga. – Beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2024, the lanes on Dawson Road will be intermittently closed from the northwest side of the Whispering Pines/Westgate intersection to the Liberty Expressway for repaving.

Construction will be done between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The project is expected to last a week or until the work is complete.

Drivers should expect travel delays and stops until construction is complete. Please avoid the area if possible and plan to use alternate routes while repaving is underway.
