16-year-old dies in fatal accidental shooting; Tifton Police, GBI investigating
TIFTON, Ga. – At around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night the Tifton Police Department found a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound at the 1100 block of Central Avenue South.
It’s being reported that he was shot after a firearm held by a 5-year-old accidentally fired.
The victim was transported to Tift Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
No charges has been filed, however this is an ongoing investigation.
