Biolab Chemical Plant Fire in Conyers
CONYERS, Ga. – On Sunday, a fire at a Georgia chemical plant sent thick smoke over Conyers, leading to evacuations and road closures.
The blaze at Biolab, initially contained, reignited hours later on Old Covington Highway before being completely extinguished.
County officials said employees were at the facility during the early morning incident, but no injuries were reported.
