Hurricane Helene’s aftermath in Albany, Dougherty Co.
ALBANY, Ga. – Now, let’s check in with CBS 44 reporter Gabe Hutton in Albany.
Staying in Albany, Dougherty County EMS would receive an urgent call to respond to Valdosta to assist.
The City of Valdosta has also extended its citywide curfew to keep residents safe and help first responders do their jobs. The curfew will now be in place from 8 p.m. tonight, Friday, September 27, until 8 a.m. Saturday, September 28.
Authorities are asking everyone to stay off the roads during these hours to ensure smooth recovery efforts after the storm.
